Yard Supervisor
Run our yard and logistics: every truck in and out, stock control, forklift operation and material support for the fabrication team. A hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who likes a well-run yard.

What you'll do
- Manage all inbound and outbound deliveries, checking goods against purchase orders
- Keep the yard organised into clear bays, from returns and in-fabrication through to finished goods ready to go
- Own the monthly stocktake and keep fixings and consumables at minimum levels
- Control stock and tool sign-out for installers, and run weekly pre-start checks on plant
- Support the fabrication team with cutting, material movement and QC of completed work
- Pick and pack project deliveries from the project manager's packing lists, and load our truck and couriers
What you'll bring
- Current forklift ticket (mandatory) and strong forklift skills
- Experience in yard, warehouse or logistics work
- Organised, reliable and safety focused
- LR or MR truck licence is a bonus but not required
- Knowledge of steel, fencing or fabrication is a bonus
Hours are 6:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday, with some flexibility either side. Employment is subject to a pre-employment medical covering manual handling and forklift operation.
